I've been enjoying Breath of the Wild so far but I've got to a boss which is winding me up. I can't remember their name (possibly Thunderstrike Gannon or something like that - on the Divine Beast in the desert area) but it's like they've put a Dark Souls style boss in there, but without the tools Dark Souls gives you. The combination of not being able to dodge effectively without being locked on, and the lock on having such short range is... RAGE!!! :S

Every time I get it to the third phase of the fight I get one-shot before I'm able to lock on. Maybe I need to get more hearts before I try again, I have 5 at the moment.

@benofbrown isn't it the desert boss? If so, yeah, it is better to have more hearts. If you don't, try some cooking with some "Hearty" ingredients ;-)
