If you report a toot who does the report go to? Is it the remote instance admin? Does your local instance admin get reports too? I imagine it would be useful for them to figure out which instances they might want to block etc.

@benofbrown to you. that was designed with angry remote admins in mind, sometime they can be worse than the originally reported person. (and then the instance should get muted)
there are proposed ideas to make it possible/easy for admins to forward reports between instances, but it's hasn't be done yet. so we just email/DM each other reports if the other admin is cooperative :p
@CobaltVelvet Ahh right, thanks. This toot was by the admin of the instance in question so I didn't want to report it in case it went to them. So if I report it, it'll go to you as I'm on octodon.social, so I'll get it reported.
