the project i've been working on recently uses both javascript and plain ol' C and wow! it is incredibly hard to shift back and forth between those two languages constantly
who here likes making posts and haveing fun with their friends
= MASTODON =
WHAT THEY EXPECTED: a VC backed startup intending to destroy twitter
WHAT THEY GOT: a bunch of cyberpunk kids hanging out behind the mall
thinking more on it, 500 characters might be too much posting power.... just imagine the Goodposting Efficiency you can achieve with this much room in a language that's more dense than english
日本語の500文字に幾つジョークを書けるか?
i awaken from my slumber to post once more...
🍄s out, boys
i've been alerted that people can in fact stop me from forcing them to read my atrocious posts through clever use of the "Block" and "Mute" options and buddy, i aint happy about it
on twitter you gotta attract people to your brand, make people follow you so you can get your content seen.
here? hoo boy, i can just shout into the void and make y'all read my terrible posts and there's nothing u can do to stop me
it's cool to be able to see other people's recent posts without having to follow them or be searching for something in particular. a neat way to post and interact
this Mastodon business is a lot easier to grasp if you just think of it like email, except everyone can see your posts
is 5 posts already in too deep.... is it too late to start over in this crazy new world of "Mastodon"....
dam i should've set up a unicornfan.com instance for maximum vanity
i still don't "get" mastodon but it's comfy and 500 chars is nice
welcome to my twisted mind (:<
