I'm really blown away how much good and friendly interaction goes on on mastodon. compared to other platforms, where there are so much more people and so many more contacts, but less good exchange.

maybe those algorithms really ruin everything? or maybe it's all going on too fast, too much on there? I don't know.

anyway. It's a pleasure to post my knitting, my painting, my everyday stuff, and it's lovely to follow your stuff and interesting to read your opinions.

it's kind of like ravelry, a platform that has been called "the facebook for knitters" except that it's so much more friendly. (+ fantastic database!)

@distelfliege Well, up to now I still feel a little bitt lonely here. But I think, You are right. Over on twitter, everything runs very fast. At night though, it can be very pleasent.

@balouqlc yeah at one point I stopped trying to get the twitter bubble to join mastodon but instead went into the bubble of mastodon! it's different. but nice!

@distelfliege One question. You just said, that from time to time You mention on twitter, that You are here. After that statement my screenreader said "Grafik." Had this bevore, that it would say "Grafik." Any idea, what this means?

@balouqlc I used an emoji! I thought the screenreader could read emojis.. hm that seems not to be the case. It's a blushing smiley!
