I haven't seen #Bao yet, but everything I've been reading about it is beautiful and amazing. I am elated to hear that a Chinese-Canadian woman was responsible for putting it all together.
But... I was horrified when I read about the reactions white people in cinema had to it. Total lack of understanding. Instead of empathising with challenges different cultures face, they laugh and have no interest in understanding at all.

@ayachan His thesis reeks of that of a typical gamer who feeds on Twitter or the YouTube comments section judging by his lack of understanding technical issues from the use of “marketing strategy” alone. But the concern remains the same. Nintendo just needs to open up about this issue. But I fear they’ll just take the usual route of “saving face” like much of Japanese business.
