Helpful hint: if apathy drives your heart, there is a very good chance you and I are going to disagree vehemently--and yes, even passionately--about many issues. And yes, there is a very good chance I will call you out for your privilege, as I--and many others--see apathy as a social disease of the privileged that they use to conveniently ignore things that don't affect them personally.

@ayachan i disagree with this and see apathy as an expression of despair at perceived powerlessness and a way to cope with that perception.
