@angristan @vaillancourtmax J'ai hâte d'avoir la capabilité de tranférer mon compte. J'aimerais bien à migrer à une instance qui se concerne plus de la tech, comme la tienne. :grin:

@Areya I'm a bit late, but evening to you as well.

@vaillancourtmax Fine, I'll bite :smile: - I finally finished an online course today on ( ).

I learned things that are directly applicable to me in my current project at work. But simply put: I love the rush of finishing a difficult course. :grin:

Seriously though guys, please share this article: https://robek.world/featured/what-is-gnu-social-and-is-mastodon-social-a-twitter-clone/

It's a really good primer both on what the federation is, and the history of this network.

@rateldajer And here in it's been warm for days! All the snows melted.

@grahampressey @jeanmanguy

I'm all for it. I mostly do any random memos and basic word processing directly in md.

Might I plug stackedit.io/ here as a fantastic online experience for editing markdown right in your browser.

@jeanmanguy On second thought, if you specifically just want to improve your writing rapidly and you don't mind native speakers helping you out by correcting you, you could try blogging on lang8.

So excited to have finally finished Dan Abramov's fundamentals course on !

@u :grin: Glad to hear you enjoyed your time in Montreal when you were here! It is pretty awesome. I moved here myself 3 years ago after a short visit where I fell in love with the city. And yes, the people played a big role in getting me to fall in love with Montreal.

@u Ah, I see. I think that's a big city thing in general, although I wouldn't be surprised if the parisians take it to the next level. :P

@tiffsming So lucky to have visited last year!

@GinnyMcQueen It's depressing to see you deal with this. This kind of behavior from is precisely the kind of thing this network was made to overcome.

@u How do you be a French guy living in Paris who isn't a Parisian?
