Anyway, Brett's car was totaled today. He's fine, his wife is fine, their little girl is fine. But he's a school teacher trying to support a family. Did I mention that? He teaches elementary school special education, in spite of the fact that it barely pays anything.
His car was totaled. Insurance is going to cover some of it, but not enough for him to replace it with something reliable. Listen to some of his music and, if you like it, maybe buy some, or tell someone else about it so that he can get a new car.
Oh my god, so many people recommended me books for my bingo that I decided to make a new post to list all of them. You can title it Self Published Mastodon Speculative Fiction Books.

**Biometric Apps Will Soon Be Pushed Across the Web**
This is a bad idea:
1. You can't "reset" your biometrics like a password.
2. Biometrics aren't hashable. The end result is they're less secure than other forms of authentication. (If you don't understand what this means, you're not qualified to have an opinion on this matter.)
3. You can't control what happens to your biometrics once they're in the hands of a 3rd party.

This is amazing, we evolved the alphabet from pictograms to highly stylized characters to letters and now we're going full circle by incorporating emojis such as 🐂 that thousands of years earlier became "a" and 🐟 that became "d"

wanted: work
I am a copywriter, although I could do a lot of different kinds of writing. I bet I could do technical writing, if it came up. I know about marketing but honestly I don't like doing it very much.
I'm also an editor! And a regular writer! And a lot of other things!
