How did I go from having one project active to all the irons in the fire?? I've got a web serial to keep up with and an epic fantasy series to finish, and I just keep coming up with side projects. Like the one whose ideal publication date is this November and I've only just started writing.

Look y'all here because I built Mastodon the way I wanted and you happened to like it. If you no longer like it that's your own business, don't give me shit about your failed expectations. There's the door, there's the code, there's the alternatives. The shit I've received today just because I was open to something that a part of the community wanted is completely inacceptable.
...I signed up to Mastodon for many reasons, but one of 'em was the chillness. So seeing the main dev get mobbed on account of a feature they're working on is making me uncomfortable.
Just make an issue on Github and discuss the pros and cons there. That's where code discussion typically goes, anyway. And go grab a glass of water and some fresh air. This ain't Twitter—mobs aren't even close to necessary regardless of what you try to justify them with.
What are your preferred alternatives to Google Drive's shared documents for writing/editing? Preferring ones which don't require accoutn/login!
