we don't do go for the frouffy stuff but color coordination is a hella fun game

got my wings yesterday :) while I was fronting, suddenly had my own phantom wings and my long tapering tail complete with tail floof. it was really really nice. the body has had phantoms but I've never had my own before

uh. kinda wondering if "oh if I need to be a dragon I'll just pick this random D&D monster I find strangely alluring"

in fun news we got one of Those Letters from our local health & human services office.

we depend on them for affordable healthcare. with our illness low-end insurance copays would run us $300 a month easy. we're on 10 medications including some pricey ones. so it's medicaid or we're fucked.

thought they were cutting off our insurance, just about panicked

had to wait until yday to call and get it clarified that no we are still insured okay we can breathe out. ffs

cooking up a custom base class. our game needed a rogueish priest, in the same sense that the scout is a druidish rogue.

calling it the guildpriest, as in thieves' guild priest.

* spontaneous cast from a limited list
* spell list made up of heals and roguey spells off the bard list.

doing this for the party's follower of the Traveler. (god of trickery &c.) shaping up really well!

yeah just making Eberron a 3-gender setting. male, female, and other.

they as a default pronoun for when you don't know someone's gender. he, she or ver/ver/vis for when you do. knowing someone's pronouns being a sign of intimacy.

like everyone in this game is queer I'm not about to put them in a binary setting :)

problem: need a name anyone in the body can go by.

also problem: picking one that's not our name feels weird.

solution: we all belong to the collective. name the collective.

plural & savvy friends will know it's a group name. it collapses to a pseudo proper name with other singlets.
