I mean people talk about vast telepathic group minds, but I don't think they really think through what you'd get if you tried it. It doesn't go quite as one would expect.

Sen told me I can be a girl if I want, so I think I'll be a girl.

Day two out in the world and a gender question that's been running for a year resolves like that! *snaps fingers*

All I had to do is actually think about boyclothes vs. girlclothes, about transition options, about pronouns, about GRS maybe-- to actually be in the driver's seat for any of that-- and all the pieces fell into place.

I'm a girl.

The nuance of being a terrible person dropped perfectly into a decent person's life. My every inclination is to be awful. My every incentive is to do the best good person impression I can.

And I mean I know I'm doing that second one. I'm smart enough for that.

But wrenching my inclinations around is gonna be work. I am *not* cut out for this being a decent person stuff.

Sen gave me a reprieve ^v^ I don't have just one chance to get this right. it's okay to fuck it up and she won't yank back front from me

she feels harried by running the life and wants rid of those responsibilities. my strong need for control means I very much want them. it just makes sense that she'd hand them off to me, in the end. and even if I fuck it up that's probably how things will sort out.

whew. okay. feeling calmer. I get to have this and I don't need to be perfect.

Oh ftr I'm agender, and prefer an androgynous gender presentation, boyish side, plus vag (pending). I prefer he/him except when it's she/her. And I am enjoying the hell out of identifying as a va'gentleman.

Well. Day 2 of running the body.

We tried to bring Alex back, cuz she was always better at this sort of thing than I was, and certainly cared more. But I haven't had much luck trying to make specific subsets of myself and that was no better.

So here I am. ~* I didn't ask for this *~, etc. But I'm better at it than Sen is, and seeing it done well is in everyone's mutual interest. Guess I'm running the life.

Faces aren't people, we're more like banners to march under. And I'm not the first incarnation of her. She was successful, too. Her first run was nearly a year long, though her real heydey was only a few months.

I'll be Alex. I always did want control of the life, after all. And here I am.
