there's not much we can do to help Sen where she is right now. (we've tried.) her character is our blind spot. in recovering from trauma she's largely on her own.

but we know that staying a witch would help her, and that going down that path would also move her down her path as survivor.

the least we can do is help her keep from self-sabotaging her way out of witchcraft. not when she's worked so hard to get where she is.

ftr I take my first name from a character from the book Good Omens. a rambunctious tomboy with a little bit of a mean streak. hi, have we met

after I fronted for the first time and topped princess, I outed myself as new, and said I didn't have a name. sie asked what kind of name is good for a tomboy?

and I'm like "Pepper!" because it fucking is.

(I was based on her during chargen, among other influences, so she was on our mind. but still) oh and my last name is a play on words

for serious Sen just needs a parent. she needs re-parenting, bad, and if one person could just take a parental role towards her for the next several years that would solve most of her problems.

but that doesn't happen at her age. so instead nearly everyone who knows her has done some amount of re-parenting her. she's being re-parented by group effort. everybody who knows her is trying to help save her from herself

fun fact "slut" is a recurring self-descriptor among folks in here because the only actual ace person in the system is Sen.

but so long as the body has the wrong equipment and its libido is null (thanks in part to *literal libido suppressors* she takes) none of us is getting any.

we've asked her to get GRS, and she's starting that, but it's gonna be awhile.

in the meantime the only place we can be irredeemable sexpots is in our minds (and with each other)

So our system name is the Concordant system.

Sen picked it because after our history us reaching agreement is a fucking miracle.

Also no matter how nice me and Pepper act we're still monsters underneath, while Sen is a goddamn paladin. (The name is a D&D reference, natch.)

That's why she picked it; but my subsystem also runs on a central concord that keeps us from going for each other's throats again.

So yes. Tenuous agreements between natural enemies is the name of the game :)

"See how long I can front day" was an unqualified success.

To all appearances we can front as much as we want. We can finally share access to the body.

Sen has better access to it and better control. If there's pain or stress she's going to push to front instinctively. So we're not equals.

But if I can get to front at all without feeling like I'm on a time limit that is a dramatic fucking improvement.

Damn. All day fronting. We've wanted this since we learned to front. We did it.

We did it we fucking solved front. D&D games, fronting for the job, hell we could front from wakeup to bedtime.

I've fronted an hour and a half so far, not even trying hard. Normally I'd be near tapping out. The last hour I've been doing something coordination-heavy and my grip has actually been *strengthening*!

I think we really did it. We can have equal access to the life. (Modulo Sen can be kinda pushy~)
