Well. Day 2 of running the body.

We tried to bring Alex back, cuz she was always better at this sort of thing than I was, and certainly cared more. But I haven't had much luck trying to make specific subsets of myself and that was no better.

So here I am. ~* I didn't ask for this *~, etc. But I'm better at it than Sen is, and seeing it done well is in everyone's mutual interest. Guess I'm running the life.

Many how the hell did I even get here.

For anyone who doesn't already, following my headmate @sen would probably help. My life just got a lot more tangled up with hers.

This will do, for a face. A friend commented we were acting like Alex, an old face in this system.

Faces aren't people, we're more like banners to march under. And I'm not the first incarnation of her. She was successful, too. Her first run was nearly a year long, though her real heydey was only a few months.

I'll be Alex. I always did want control of the life, after all. And here I am.

can I just be some kind of smooth butch-female android with hot swappable junk please. and if I could leave it unset 90% of the time and just slap a dong on there when I needed it that would work fine for me.

there's not much we can do to help Sen where she is right now. (we've tried.) her character is our blind spot. in recovering from trauma she's largely on her own.

but we know that staying a witch would help her, and that going down that path would also move her down her path as survivor.

the least we can do is help her keep from self-sabotaging her way out of witchcraft. not when she's worked so hard to get where she is.

@sen sometimes aesthetic means done for the look of the thing

and sometimes it means underlying principles that you steer by.

when I pick something off the rack at the thrift store and I'm instantly like "please fit!"

it did! and now I own a snazzy light black jacket. which, I mean it's late spring, but I'm still happy about that. it is so snazzy.

I want a digitized BoS to work but it just doesn't. and until we splurge on a typewriter, longhand is how we'll be doing it

ftr I take my first name from a character from the book Good Omens. a rambunctious tomboy with a little bit of a mean streak. hi, have we met

after I fronted for the first time and topped princess, I outed myself as new, and said I didn't have a name. sie asked what kind of name is good for a tomboy?

and I'm like "Pepper!" because it fucking is.

(I was based on her during chargen, among other influences, so she was on our mind. but still) oh and my last name is a play on words

@kitsch @sen don't worry. if someone tries to challenge us on it, I am all over that ^..^ there's pretty much always someone in the system ready to stand up to people for Sen, it helps keep her stable.

@sen I'm just gonna say. you'd only made two other magic things before in your life, and those by accident. this was the first time you'd ever sat down and actually used magic intentionally.

for that, you sure as hell sound like someone who knows what she's doing.

for serious Sen just needs a parent. she needs re-parenting, bad, and if one person could just take a parental role towards her for the next several years that would solve most of her problems.

but that doesn't happen at her age. so instead nearly everyone who knows her has done some amount of re-parenting her. she's being re-parented by group effort. everybody who knows her is trying to help save her from herself

@SkinScalesSteam fair enough. but I still would like to have the experience of fronting while the body gets railed.

fun fact "slut" is a recurring self-descriptor among folks in here because the only actual ace person in the system is Sen.

but so long as the body has the wrong equipment and its libido is null (thanks in part to *literal libido suppressors* she takes) none of us is getting any.

we've asked her to get GRS, and she's starting that, but it's gonna be awhile.

in the meantime the only place we can be irredeemable sexpots is in our minds (and with each other)
