@aphandra May I ask what notebook and pen? (Also I approve of the longhand.)
Our closest thing to a book like that is a Mnemosyne lined notebook which we write in with our fountain pens, but it's not exclusively spiritual stuff, it's more a developmental thing overall since those tend to be tied together for us. (Have considered dedicating a separate notebook to magicky things but it's unclear whether it'd be useful, most of our practice is so ad-hoc.)
