Every day I drive past a sign that says "DO NOT PASS BICYCLES NEXT 1000ft."
I've never seen a motorist besides myself obey that rule, and I've seen many motorists disregard it.
Spending 1000ft behind cyclist will not make anybody late for work, but apparently it's completely absurd to expect a driver to invert that natural order of the universe and fall in behind a cyclist.

A lot of people don't realize that Blue-Checkmark people have a different Twitter experience than the rest of us.
They can set it so they don't even *see* notifications/replies from people who don't have the blue checkmark.
