Another day, another #webcomic I'll never read because they don't put their comics in their RSS stream.
I really don't understand why #comic artists would setup a reader-unfriendly RSS feed.
I guess in the olden days they were worried about protecting their ad revenue ... but who cares about that now? Who doesn't have an ad-blocker?

Who would they even send the bill TO?
After discussing the Oregon Trail handheld, I started thinking about other RPG games I wish had turned into handhelds.
I've sketched out my ideal fantasy of a Tiger Electronics handheld.
Of course, this would probably be the most expensive one they ever made, both for the screens, and for the ram/rom requirements ...
... BUT IT WOULD BE WORTH IT!
Sounds like the local used book store pays $1/book, and someone needed $150 on short notice.
When did it become acceptable for Microsoft to put advertisements in our Start menu?

@wion Ha! The purpose is to extract $25 from nostalgic thirty-something nerds who remember playing this game on an Apple II computer.
If you went to an American middle school in the 80s or early 90s, This was likely the only game allowed in the computer lab. So everyone played it at least once.
But, I'm happy to report that the game is still fun, all these years later.

Why do "Open World" games have to exist on roughly square maps? I spend most of my time near roads, just like in real life.
Take that 100 square miles of content, and give me 200 miles of a road, with a quarter mile of content on either side.
I guess this is how "Euro Truck Simulator" works, but I want to be able to get out of the truck and have an adventure.
The book "The Earth Abides", features our hero going on an adventure down the abandoned, Rt 66.
THAT would make a great video game.
@platypus Clearly somebody needs to disrupt the 'writing-on-signs' economy with a uber style gig-economy service that connects angry faculty to undergrads with sharpies.
I believe the game has been patched to include 'Developer's Commentary', which I haven't seen yet, but that's usually a fun addition.
"Flame in the Flood" is a great game.
"Survival elements" are a really tired gameplay mechanic on their own, but combined with a compelling journey through a flooded town, they provide a good experience.
If Humble is offering 100% off on this title, everyone should try it.

At no time does it explain why a blockchain would be superior to a traditional, centralized database. (After all, tickets, by definition, are issued by a central authority.)
