As you settle into Mastodon, be sure to learn the lingo:
- "toot": a tweet
- "tusking": starting a pointless fight with another user

sometimes when i'm thinking about authority and state coercion and freedom, i am reminded that i was (and felt) more free in Japan than in America but my husband, who is Japanese feels (but isn't actually imo) more free here.
we have more legal restrictions; they have more cultural and social ones (that didn't apply to me as a gaijin). i think.

@bradlibum it is sooo amazing and I goof off a lot, or rather, watch my husband goof off while I write stuff. We recently found the final memory and the white horse. It is, hands down, the best game I have played for decades. :)
