@pnathan I was really excited for Bob Hasegawa, as he had concrete plans to move the city forward (like a municipal bank to loan funds for affordable housing etc.). But apparently Seattle doesn't like good ideas...
@andschwa for reasons I don't remember, I didn't think he was a compelling candidate. Sufficiently competent, just not compelling to me. I voted for Durkan.
For the November vote, I'm super undecided. I saw Durkan speak once this summer and it was a /mess/. Totally awkward, like a "hello fellow kids" moment. Cringed hard. I have genuine doubts of her communication effectiveness now. Saw Moon speak, she's /good/ at a simple speech.
