The new iPhone X depth camera means that:
-automatic photography and video manipulation is suddenly mainstream
-but only for the selfie camera.
How long will it be before people use that new iPhone to replace their face by a younger, nicer version of themselves when videophoning on dating sites?
Mastodon is a refreshingly nice place. It feels like the beginning of the Internet, when the norm was that people are nice to one another.
It would be interesting to find out why it is so.
Unfortunately, I am afraid that the reason is simply that the reason is simply that the place is still relatively new so that a social hierarchy between members has not been established yet.
