Whenever I die in Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup with a character I feel invested in, I simultaneously get mad at myself for losing and feel really relieved that I can stop being distracted


@cwebber One of the really nice thing about more modern eurostyle board games is there's usually a game mechanic ratchet that puts hard limit on how long the game will play.
