I’ve been trying this out recently with a lot of success: quantifying your accomplishments is a great way to build up your self esteem, and your #motivation to achieve even more personal goals. Helped me break out of writer’s block, but could apply to many other challenges. #amwriting #nicewave #carepunk
#amwriting Just realized that with all these 2,000-4,000 word #philosophy papers I churn out per semester it’s basically the equivalent of writing a 1 / 2 to a full length book per year. O_O #essayfactory
@DenubisX A sense of cosmic harmony perhaps! XD

@DenubisX Stoicism! :)
#amwriting some intense #philosophy. (Hence sporadic posting). Overcoming writer’s block and stress has been a real challenge. But there are many tips I’ve collected for getting past it. One of my favourite ways to make progress is to just do some fun, non-judgemental free-writing - there are plenty of prompts out there to work from. It’s great to balance things out with the more technical work I’m doing. Plus, it helps with my overall focus. :)
@eris hey thanks for sharing this. It’s actually an album by a friend of mine (Ei / GOTH GIRL) from the local Toronto scene. They’re an incredible artist and I highly recommend their other works / projects as well. They are one of the people who really built our scene, basically from scratch. I’m glad you’re enjoying this! :)

Got an extra few bucks a month for the excellent Octodon sys admin?
@starbreaker just realized you might mean the dragon ! He’s more a panther, lurking from above and pouncing when people least expect. XD
@starbreaker not toothless. Very gentle biter though :)
@starbreaker this is Heinrich Fitzflouffington
Good morning :)
@TWeiss We have plenty here! We actually have red, grey, and black squirrels, all coming to feed on nuts and seeds. Our neighbourhood has a good selection of trees for them to nest in.
