@vernepator_cur I wish I could do that. I'm always bumping into reasons for keeping my accounts ("post pics so my family back in my country can see", "professional updates", "keep in touch with old friends"), but it's all bullshit, I should go ahead and delete them anyway. I'm just too scared I'll regret it, but I'm pretty sure it would feel wonderful indeed.

I have heard they have a local kind of pizza called "APIZZA" which they pronounce "ah-beets". This has to mean SOMETHING.

I was reading Americanah and there is this part when the narrator says someone talks about "having lived in New Haven" as if it obviously means having studied at Yale.

Being interviewed for my student visa, they asked me where I will be living, I answered "New Haven" and then they asked me "you are going to Yale, then?", so I said "yes" and they just said "of course".

Is the city that uninteresting?!

@tiphra Pretendo ir a Lisboa no começo do ano que vem, porque meu pai volta ao Brasil em março, está apenas fazendo seu pós-doutorado por 1 ano na Universidade de Lisboa.

Em que cidade moras?

Participo do carnaval de rua, local, pequeno, no máximo... confesso que não gosto dos grandes desfiles do Rio. Nada contra, mas não acompanho.

Porém, legal saber que integra a bateria de samba daí! Amo música de maneira geral. :)
