I'm personally not all that interested in what new characters there will be, but more interested in stuff like balance and jank and whatever.
'Will Ridley (or whoever) be in the next Smash?' is a lot less important to me than 'Will Falco be good again?' or 'Will Sonic *still* be tedious to fight against?'
I mean, I'd love a Ganondorf that's completely redesigned from the ground up and Black Shadow to take up his old kit, but that's the extent of what I want in terms of 'new characters.'
I keep wanting to comment on Smash Bros stuff but I stop myself because the way I experience the game is completely orthogonal to the way I think most people play it.
I'm not super into the competitive scene for a variety of reasons, but it's still the way I choose to play.
But the concerns of the person who plays similarly to the ways I do aren't going to line up with the person who likes doing bullshit with their friends on Temple or whatever.

How we got in this position is a sordid story, but effectively she's stranded but also wants to live with us
She could have cancer for all we know, and her going back to Ohio for her appointment won't be the best idea 'cause she will be out of home a few months later there

Really, asking "what should replace Facebook" is putting things the wrong way around.
A more interesting way to ask the question is, "what did Facebook replace."
People used to build their own websites. People used to have blogs. People used USENET which was truly distributed and un-censorable.
Facebook and Google took the open internet and open standards and monetized and made everything crappy. Enough of that. Nothing should replace Facebook, it's done, stick a fork in it.
