Since #Facebook owns #Instagram, I'm looking for a good alternative similar in practice to Mastodon. Anyone know of one?
@ajdonovan2k I'm actually starting a discussion on an online community that I'm a part of, MetaFilter to try to provide an answer, b/c I too have been thinking about that quite a bit. I'm not on Facebook and I've most of my foot out the door of Twitter, but I am still a part of the WhatsApp/Instagram ecoverse and I dislike it.
So maybe in a day or two I'll have an answer or a suggestion for you.

@ajdonovan2k Why can't you just use Mastodon?
