I've gotten a lot of reports of not being able to log into various instances with Tusky. It's MEANT to be able to log into any instance, so it's not by design. It also seems for a given instance some users will be able to log in and others can't so it's not even necessarily an instance-dependent bug. Right now I know of one SSL-handshake related bug but I don't know for sure the login issues are all a single bug yet.
@bradshawjones I could login on other instance using Tusky but not on octodon. I'm going to try to enable two factor login to see if this solves my issue
@abgd I'm still having issues trying to login. I guess I'll have to wait until fixed
@CobaltVelvet @Siphonay Yes. I've just killed the app, opened again and tried to login but it keeps saying that the app can't obtain authentication from server
@Siphonay I 'm getting an error on my phone when trying to login to octodon.social instance. It says that "This app could not obtain authentication from that server instance"
Anyone using Tusky for Android can login into this Mastodon instance?
