I demand a lot from the people in my life. Respect, honesty and accountablilty are all a part of that. I don't think that's hard but it is certainly a lot for most.
When you are a dick to me, I will be honest and hold you accountable, and I will do it as nicely as possible. I will probably distance myself from you for a time to see if you are still are performing your asshole behaviors. I love you but I can't allow you to demean me constantly, you fucking know better.

Fuck. The death of Anthony Bourdain still is really fucking with me. I so deeply loved his work. I have never been one to attach myself to celebrities or status but something about him, and his work really broke through to me.

I don't know why I didn't use #gitlab before. It's just as intuitive as git, and I can't wait to use some of their CI/CD features. I probably won't use some of those features for awhile but I'll probably throw in for a yearly to support the project. #floss #foss #openSource #microsoft

Relaxing day. Mostly kept to myself, did a little cooking, went for a walk. The thought that keeps crossing my mind is, #FuckLuxury.

I am by no means wealthy, and I am by no means poor, though I might be considered broke. I work hard for the little I make and people in my industry are constantly fighting for more but I am really comfortable on the little I make, and I save a good portion of what I make.

I don't need much, and I don't want more.

Back in the saddle programming after a shit month of OT, staffing issues, and customer hell. I'm so ready to start school again, and focus more on doing things I truly enjoy. I should take more refuge in my hobbies and taking better care of myself as the problems I have with my current job are far, far from over.
