ie: I have Fybromyalgia. Er... ok, so... right. What now.

My sciatica & lower back arthritis is on constant eye-watering form today. This is why people get addicted to bloody pain killers (I haven't taken any, which is why I am suffering somewhat).

Levar Burton has just shared a fabulous early Octavia Butler short story on his podcast and the pride in his voice saying her name gave me a lump in my throat and a few tears for that brilliant woman. Unbelievably awful that she died. Over ten years ago now.
It's a really great podcast. He's an excellent storyteller.

Was just watching a *blistering* colab with Prince and Beyoncé on YouTube. Last ten seconds out comes his funky silliness and missed him suddenly with a lump in my throat. Grew up with that daft, insanely talented artist of a man. It is tragic that he's gone, 30 years too soon at least. She must remember that event often.

Shaky, the lady? Too few characters left, see. I just wrote a short piece in the vague style of Shakespeare, as if she had been a woman: what sort of semi-personal character stuff would she have written (watching Andrew Scott doing Hamlet. Very fine, but not David Tennant, who was channelling Shakespeare. I could hear the bugger speaking)

Blinking heck. Easter training holiday and part time afternoon job means my inner time clock is all over the place. 1.15am. Grr.

Trying to cajole a relatively local theatre school with charitable links to do some outreach work with my Homework club kids. Thinking this may be when I tap my mates for some cash ;)

Yawning like a crazy person in Waterstones Piccadilly, while my daughter ponders about book tokens. No one ever gets *me* book tokens! (I am consequently looking at no books and internally howling like a bereft puppy)

Such fantastic news, about Black Panther overtaking The Avengers and being the no1 superhero fillum. Even if the bit with the ancestors and the music was a bit Lion King (minor gripe).

Oh the irony of working running a Hypermobility workshop for my new employer, whilst having a quite horrible backpain day

I want to move so I can start growing things again. Hate not using my garden space to grow things to eat. Gardening marketing emails are no good to me (plus, who wants to grow anything they can't eat? It feels like a waste of effort to me).

Damn. Headache earlier so went to bed for a couple of hours. Now can't get to sleep.

You know you're out of touch when you find out that in London, the new hipster 'office party' trend is crazy golf bars.

Becoming slightly irritated by the multi-billionaire Elon Musk telling us we must leave Earth as a dead loss. Welll, old chap, you could get your sci-fi head out of your ass and go help some refugees or support global education or something similar to reduce the stress down here, maybe? Grrr.

There's nothing like pain all morning to suck the bloody life out of you. Exhausted. Goodnight!

If I could have my lower back vertebrae removed and replaced, I really bloody would. Some days, the pain of moving, sitting, standing, lying down... *anything* is so extreme. Then other days I get up and almost no pain at all. I do not understand it fully enough. It's so exhausting, though. Pain. My daughter did my shoes up this morning.
