I am a copywriter, although I could do a lot of different kinds of writing. I bet I could do technical writing, if it came up. I know about marketing but honestly I don't like doing it very much.
I'm also an editor! And a regular writer! And a lot of other things!
If you know someone who needs me, or what I can do, please suggest me. I'm good at what I do and unemployed!

Trying to cajole a relatively local theatre school with charitable links to do some outreach work with my Homework club kids. Thinking this may be when I tap my mates for some cash ;)
@Siphonay can I take an order please? I'll have seven.

@mala same here. I astonishingly tried to find friends who were interesting people ie: people who in fact I felt impressed by. What an arse. Said so much more about me that it did about them. Dissatisfaction on a grand scale! So glad I've a) realised this and b) stopped looking back and wincing ;)
Yawning like a crazy person in Waterstones Piccadilly, while my daughter ponders about book tokens. No one ever gets *me* book tokens! (I am consequently looking at no books and internally howling like a bereft puppy)
Such fantastic news, about Black Panther overtaking The Avengers and being the no1 superhero fillum. Even if the bit with the ancestors and the music was a bit Lion King (minor gripe).
I, could have really done without an upset stomach today
@craigmaloney so bad in so many ways, and yet also fantastic and indelibly imprinted in to my DNA. To the extent that I see TV Ford's face, even when listening to the radio series.
Oh the irony of working running a Hypermobility workshop for my new employer, whilst having a quite horrible backpain day
@cwebber that's what I like about Octodon. The level if intellectual conversation ;)
@pzmyers I wouldn't describe it as leaving 'atheism'. I mean being an atheist is the state of understanding comfortably that God/s is a human construct invented to explain the unexplainable thousands of years ago. I think it's feasible it would all get a lot less stressed and sexist if atheists (OK, atheist men) got a little less uptight about it maybe? It's OK for it to not be a club with badges! For the life of me I do not understand how rational people could behaving like such assholes.
@wohali I disagree. Facebook actively chose to build a business around exploiting naive customers. They knowingly did that, and chose to ignore the natural consequences of doing so. Companies like Cambridge Analytics merely took advantage of that arrogant complacency.

I want to move so I can start growing things again. Hate not using my garden space to grow things to eat. Gardening marketing emails are no good to me (plus, who wants to grow anything they can't eat? It feels like a waste of effort to me).
Damn. Headache earlier so went to bed for a couple of hours. Now can't get to sleep.
@mala how could anyone hate you ;)
@Starling I've been reading a lovely, thoughtful book by Ruth Ozeki called "A Tale For The Time Being" which is really quite beautiful, actually. I would seek it out. Her 1st novel is great fun and horrifying. Read it when it first came out, years ago. That is my recommendation, my dear!
@craigmaloney well, it's a bit like "R Mutt". The Art is in the critical statement, about art and culture. Whether you personally find it aesthetically pleasing is a different question. He wears his advertising illustration apprenticeship on his sleeve, so it all looks like packaging.
