If you let the yeast/water/flour mulch for 25 minutes before adding the salt and then letting it rise normally, it makes even the most amateur breadmaker (hello!) look pretty durned good. Look what I made that look and taste delicious! It's your basic puff pastry block rolled out, then layered with a) pesto b) extra pine nuts c) pecorino grated d) slightly caramelised fried onions. Brush egg over. Bake until it looks kind of done. https://octodon.social/media/DLEAvXmdU7rt2sjqCyg
