My son is hypermobile so he's a tiny bit clumsy. He is 12 and growing taller, so a bigger bit clumsy. He's also a gymnast, so boings around constantly. *Every* bump and scratch is a major disaster - every bruise and scratch gets tears and yelping with pain... has he broken his toe or just bashed it and got a bruise? Who knows? Has he bumped his head or do we need to call an ambulance? Get some sense of proportion, kid! Cry appropriately! Argh!
