Levar Burton has just shared a fabulous early Octavia Butler short story on his podcast and the pride in his voice saying her name gave me a lump in my throat and a few tears for that brilliant woman. Unbelievably awful that she died. Over ten years ago now. It's a really great podcast. He's an excellent storyteller.
