flat tires suck. flat tires that are corroded onto the car suck even harder.

after cussing quietly to myself and repeatedly kicking it failed, some nice stranger said i should take the lug nuts halfway out and drive back and forth a few feet. this (eventually) broke the corrosion, and i was able to get home.

Federated timeline: People (and bots) random replies without any context whatsoever. Mostly gibberish.

I always thought sci-fi movies were being little ridiculous when a robot would interact with a computer by pressing buttons with analog "fingers." But then maybe that's our dark dystopian Burger King future after all.

Suddenly wondering how drama works in a network as small as mastodon. Like.. It would be nice if we could try to work things out together. With public timelines being a thing, everyone can see what's happening.

Do we mind our own business, or is that the equivalent of being on a train while a person is being harassed and doing nothing?

Amazing how it's possible to take a sort of free-software-y idea like gnu-social and then all you have to do is make it nice and interesting and easy to use and everyone likes it.
