Your problems are "enough". You don't have to earn anyone's approval to feel bad about something going on in your life. We all have problems, and yes some problems are bigger than others, but they are still just as important and vital and painful to us when we're experiencing them.

Take the time you need to experience your pain. Name it, process it, and then take care of yourself. Give yourself permission to treat yourself with love. You deserve it.

I think it's supremely fucked up that a bunch of white boys who happened to take the right classes all got inordinately rich while people who had been working in careers their entire lives got the axe. If the tech sector had any ethical basis whatsoever they should have done something about that.

I am explaining to a friend of mine about the couple of years my mother spent stalking Clay Aiken. Like, serious stalking. Go hide in the hotel floor he was staying on, traveling to North Carolina to meet his family and former teachers, skulking about the exits where he performed.
