@starbreaker Unrestrained capitalism is definitely the root cause of this (and most) of societies ills.
I do feel for people who became addicted while following their doctors directions.
it's also why rules that seek to curtail access opiate pharmaceuticals further victimize people who have already been wronged.

why is it that rampant opioid abuse only became a problem when it started effecting white middle class/aged people?
why are all the mitigation efforts aimed at stopping street dealers while the people who caused the epidemic by pushing doctors to prescribe higher and higher dosages (insys and Perdue pharma) get off scott free?

@pzmyers oh you science people (joking) personally my biggest problem was no that the seveneves decided to dedicate themselves to assembly line birthing but they decided that it was ok to sentence their progeny to the same fate for millennia.

@vamp I like peppermint. right now I don't have a Linux install for the first Tim in 10 years. I'm a little hesitant to dual boot my windows box with win 10....also it's the first ufei boot machine I've ever owned and although I turned off ufei my first try at installing Linux (with ufei still engaged) backfired badly.

@GinnyMcQueen yep. I honestly don't know if I'll be able to continue a daily regime. we're talking nearly 800 bucks a year out of pocket. it's sad this is the best my anxiety has been on 20 years. it's not gone but it doesn't consume my brain anymore

@GinnyMcQueen I totally get ya' . my panic attacks stack. so I'll start off with mild unease and my cabasa will find things to stack on top of that unease till I'm literally pacing the floor so I won't scream or burst into tears (not super manly)
my vertigo is (from what I've been told by Drs and such) really mild and I can still usually even drive unless that is I start "panic stacking". I've found CBD to be very helpful for anxiety.

I can totally empathize with how anxiety amps up specific conditions like asthma and vertigo .. yay me I have both but luckily not badly but if I start having a anxiety attack during either the outcome is usually negative
