I think it's supremely fucked up that a bunch of white boys who happened to take the right classes all got inordinately rich while people who had been working in careers their entire lives got the axe. If the tech sector had any ethical basis whatsoever they should have done something about that.
@u2764 isn't that the way of the world. I'd like to be part of a distributed society like the one in Daniel Suarez's demon. unfortunately the amount of blood that would need to be she'd to dislodge the oligarchs would be horrific.
