Not that I think in a million years that any kind of user strike activity would get FB, G or T to change anything significant. Because their entire business model from the ground up is based on selling ads.
Mostly I'm keen to drive people to user-supported social media, like Mastodon, Dreamwidth, Wordpress, even NeoCities.org (which is so cool).
All I am saying here isis, if you want a non-toxic user experience: make sure you're the customer, not the product / worker.
a random discussion on the differences and similarities of kobolds and goblins while I'm cooking dinner is why I have been married to my husband for 7 years π

That game is fun. Enjoy!

I work with a guy that's talked about that also.
So yesterday I mildly grumped at our sysadmin for being rather critical of a user who was having computer trouble. There's much nicer ways he could have said "you're doing it wrong".
He took it gracefully and nodded and agreed that, he was not in a great mood and he should not talk down to (l)users.
Then he thought for a moment, and said, (you must imagine a thick slavic accent) "Now I know why you are #debian user, you have soft heart. I am #openbsd user, so I am very cruel."

So the largest mass shooting in American history. But no one on the right is outraged? I just do not get it. If in fact, the terrorist used 332 calibur ammo, which has been reported, it leaves horrific injuries in the human body. And somehow the NRA, and our government is okay with people being slaughtered? I feel as though I am living gin some distant reality.
@pzmyers All we're likely to get is more, "Now is not the time to talk about gun control." Well, when is the right fucking time then? We have a shooting every other week nowadays.
50 dead in Las Vegas! Will we finally get sensible gun control? No.
