One thing keeping me from it is a proper Android client with Multi-Account-Support though.
Tooty Fruity is nice but has a few bugs (e. g. can't scroll my list of followers). Twittnuker only has Mastodon support on paper apparently, crashes immediately when I try to open anything.

People who use the notion of "human nature" to justify capitalism have a lazy, unfounded argument. Human nature is a malleable concept and to believe that greed is a quintessential example of human ambition and thought is unjustified and tragic.

If you beat your own child because you "turned out okay" after your childhood was full of beatings... you did not turn out ok.

You (an individual) cannot make money.

You can be given money (by banks, by companies, by individuals, etc). You can steal money. You can maybe find money laying around in your couch cushions.

You cannot make money. It can't be created by you. You have to ask for it and someone else has to choose to give it to you.

Earning is also a shit word to describe acquiring wealth. Earning is just a shit word in general. Get rid of it.

I guess what I'm saying is that when I'm handling a lot of stress I tend to unwind by hopping on social media to provoke and dunk on cartoon monsters. Mastodon is failing me on that front.

Where are the people defending gulags, the holocaust, and bombing children's hospital charities?
