@KevinCarson1 Damn, I actually haven't thought of that concept in a long while. I can say I was rather lucky in not encountering too much of this myself but there was a general stigma associated with valuing things for entertainment purpose over practical purpose from my father that almost certainly had an impact one way or another on my own mentality. It was allowed but just...frowned upon...as it were.
