good that VST plugins us some kinda floating point audio thing because sometimes that weird reverb u downloaded from a geocities site just before geocities got deleted goes all nutty and starts sending out NaN or trying to draw a tangent function or something and your master output gets set to an invalid location and the speaker cones begin to levitate 18 inches in front of your speakers and catch on fire
