I'm on a break, and it's been awhile, so let's ramble about autonomy and autonomous power in #Anarchism.
Autonomy is distinct from liberal notions of liberty or freedom: it's not about what you're allowed to do, but what you and your community can both do and achieve without the approval or retribution of a state authority.
You should note that when we talk about autonomous power within a Capitalist system, we sometimes are describing extralegal behavior that state authorities can't control.
@Witchsmeller pretty much find a local anticapitalist group and start organizing the working class. i'm knocking on doors for an affordable housing initiative a couple nights a week. it's hard and a slog but also rewarding and powerful. i mean - you find like minded people and you do what you can do to mobilize people. there's books on what that looks like.
"Let's play a game, to help some of the newcomers make connections: name 5-7 things that interest you but aren't in your profile, as tags so they are searchable. Then boost this post or repeat its instructions so others know to do the same."
So for me it would be:
if anyone tries to tell you we are creatures driven purely by rationality and markets, they are fucking lying to you and their philosophy is full of shit.
Would you trust this man to pop your corn? I would
