So a friend has one of these electronic mosquito bite "healers" that apply heat (and lots of it) to the bite and supposedly denatures the proteins of the insects saliva or whatever and I let her use it on me (not on the previously described bite) and after she was done my colleague said he had one too and wanted to try it as well and in milliseconds he was yelling out really really loud out of pain and suprise :D Everyone in the beach bar winced and looked at us, haha!

If someone would ask me what I did at work today I would have to answer that I have mainly organized the after work dinner/drinks thing for tonight ... ;)
My boss showed me #DeepL - a translation website that has really good results. So far, the translations by DeepL are not at all awkward like these from google translate are sometimes. https://www.deepl.com
Bought yarn and needles, but to make Babypants (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/hosenmatz Hosenmatz) because they are cute and I enjoy making these. And there'll be a baby (/baby parents) to gift it to sooner or later.
I should pack one of these hibernating sock projects to store here for "emergencies"... Stay tuned - will I go buy yarn and needles to start another soon to be hibernating sock project? Or will I just go and eat cake?
I have two homes (work/boyfriend) around ~ 200km apart and I go back and forth every week. The struggle is real to have all the things you need at the right place. I just realized it's knitting group meet up on Thursday and I forgot to pack my #knitting!! Zero yarn or needles with me.... Nooooo.
Hmmmmm. For the extra day that I'm staying in Rennes the end of the month... Maybe I'm lucky and the trains to Le mont Saint-Michel are working? That would be pretty awesome! We drove by when we went to Brittany for vacation two years ago and it looked amazing #worktriptofrance
My credit card was blocked due to suspicious use and what they found suspicious was Patreon? They Guy was like "Pat...Patr...Patreeeon?!?!?! Does that mean anything to you?!?!!" Also I have been using that for over a year now...
Probably me booking a vacation was part of it too because that's unusual *cries*
@windmills I finished my french novel yesterday! Wow, 380 pages and it almost took me 3 month :D but I made it through! The ending was shit but otherwise I enjoyed the ride. I also did Vocabulary, Duolingo and clozemaster yesterday for #200daysoffrench

Got some pitying looks when I mentioned I was going to a concert by myself but really, it's pretty great.
I don't have anyone close who likes the band as well, so I would be worrying if the other person is enjoying him/herself even a little bit. All. The. Time. And - dancing like no one is watching is waaay easier! Plus you don't need to put the experience into words at your way home, you can just enjoy the bliss.
Finally decided I will not try return by Train from France to Germany on a strike day. So I will have an additional day to explore Rennes (on my own, but who cares?) and then I won't go straight home but meet my partner in Brussels to have a little weekend trip :) Yay!

Reminds me of the time I shared a sewing project in a facebook group. Took my time to list what pattern I used, where I bought the fabric and supplies. What modification I made and where to find instructions for that. Yet for hours people are like "where did you get xy?!?!", "what pattern is this?!?!", "hoooow?!".
Generally, people getting angry at modders... I just can't.
Ugh, drives me crazy when people write comments before even reading the tinyiest bit.
Today a new dlc for #citiesskylines was released. One of the most popular mods has a box with exclamation marks emojis clearly stating a time when the mod will be updated, yet everyone is like "whaaat, this mod is failing, update asap!! I can't play!"
