Bought yarn and needles, but to make Babypants (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/hosenmatz Hosenmatz) because they are cute and I enjoy making these. And there'll be a baby (/baby parents) to gift it to sooner or later.
@vickysteeves Awesome!!! :)) Happy happy Birthday Vicky! Have a great day! 🎁 🍰
@DialMforMara ;)) yeah something like that would be a good idea! ;)
I should pack one of these hibernating sock projects to store here for "emergencies"... Stay tuned - will I go buy yarn and needles to start another soon to be hibernating sock project? Or will I just go and eat cake?
I have two homes (work/boyfriend) around ~ 200km apart and I go back and forth every week. The struggle is real to have all the things you need at the right place. I just realized it's knitting group meet up on Thursday and I forgot to pack my #knitting!! Zero yarn or needles with me.... Nooooo.
Hmmmmm. For the extra day that I'm staying in Rennes the end of the month... Maybe I'm lucky and the trains to Le mont Saint-Michel are working? That would be pretty awesome! We drove by when we went to Brittany for vacation two years ago and it looked amazing #worktriptofrance
My credit card was blocked due to suspicious use and what they found suspicious was Patreon? They Guy was like "Pat...Patr...Patreeeon?!?!?! Does that mean anything to you?!?!!" Also I have been using that for over a year now...
Probably me booking a vacation was part of it too because that's unusual *cries*
@windmills oh wow, harry potter! :) Thats quite a bit of reading! :)
@CountZero @windmills c'était "La fille de Papier" de Guillaume Musso. Il souvent écrire des fins mauvais, mais les livres sont assez bons à mon avis! Je suis ouverte à tes recommandations! :)
@lapis I know it's not itchy at all and it's not really warm, it's a good "breathable" summer yarn. I found a link on felting bamboo http://windrosefiberstudio.blogspot.com/2008/10/can-you-felt-bamboo-and-soy-silk.html - needle felting works on the fibre but I'm pretty sure your cotton/bamboo mix won't felt in the washing machine
@windmills I finished my french novel yesterday! Wow, 380 pages and it almost took me 3 month :D but I made it through! The ending was shit but otherwise I enjoyed the ride. I also did Vocabulary, Duolingo and clozemaster yesterday for #200daysoffrench
@moondunes You can do it! :) Socks are a lovely project and if you want knitted socks, totally go for it! If you need help, there are tons of resources or the knitting people here can help you out! :)
@windmills Yesterday I did vocabulary, reading my book and I read an article in a french magazine and tried my luck with the crossword puzzle. #200daysoffrench
@windmills Thats nice! That's more or less how it used to be and some families still do that in Germany, but its not a "every weekend" thing anymore. My brothers and sisters don't all live close anymore so it's a rare thing now to get them all together without an occasion like a birthday or so!
@windmills haha, lazy stuff! For me it was computer games, Board games, eating some cake, now maybe some reading or knitting on the balcony! What about you?
@windmills uh wow, that is early! ;) Have a great day then! :))
@windmills morning! ;) I'm just starting my day too, but with the time zones, you must be up really early!
