A little sad I have to say goodbye to Rennes today - it was lovely!

Today is my 100. day learning with ! And - I didn't miss a day!

Sometime in February "Laura, can you knit me a pair of socks in the colors of my favorite soccer team?"
Me: "Sure, I'll make them for your birthday in june!'
Me one week later: Yay, finished one sock
Me end of May: Waaaait a minute, wasn't there a pair of socks I needed to finish???
But they're done! Yay!
Happy with stripe symmetry here.

Quite happy with the Yarn I got on sale for this!

I was wondering where this pin went... Found it in the depth of my handbag just now after missing it for 2 years. Off to my brothers disputation today

Sooo, two month of learning with . I tried other Apps before and mainly used pre-made word sets. Now I'm making all of my cards myself, which helps to remember the words, gives them context etc. I usually add images or gifs and sometimes example sentences. If possible I'll make them a bit extra fun!

Took a close up picture of my current project with "the good camera" and I love it ;) this is Skala by Melanie Berg in Drops Fabel - so cozy!

When you pin out your until you have only 3 pins left... Muscle soreness from blocking is totally a thing right? Because I have been lying on the ground, adjusting needles for half an hour now, ouch. This is the Stole of the Seas by Melanie Berg, it is for my mother in law's birthday and I'm really proud because I already finished knitting in February, booyah!

On slightly related news, I made another reading pillow for a friend. It's best used with a ebook reader I think, but a friend of mine also uses hers with physical and likes it a lot. Makes for hand free reading and is pretty comfortable for longer sessions. Mine is the more colorful one and I am still loving the fabric ;)

We built a kenyan landscape with a small forest, tea plantation and smallholder agriculture with lifestock. It has a river and a sensor with a built-in light ;) Also graphs from her paper and pictures of her time in kenya and here in Germany.

When I was a little girl, I was a flower girl for a wedding. They made me wear a ridiculous, pouffy dress in an apricot color and we went to make wedding pictures somewhere in this park. Not one but two wasps mistook me for a juicy flower, got lost under the fifty thousand layers of my dress, panicked and stung me. My belly and leg were swollen for almost two weeks!

I decided to basically do a tourist day at home, 10 min drive. Even though it was raining this morning, the sun is doing it's job now :)

Also, a colleague asked me this week where I bought my lunchbag and it gave me great pleasure to answer "I MADE IT!" ;) It is a little skewed, but I don't mind.
