So a friend has one of these electronic mosquito bite "healers" that apply heat (and lots of it) to the bite and supposedly denatures the proteins of the insects saliva or whatever and I let her use it on me (not on the previously described bite) and after she was done my colleague said he had one too and wanted to try it as well and in milliseconds he was yelling out really really loud out of pain and suprise :D Everyone in the beach bar winced and looked at us, haha!
@Virelai but in principle this method of heating the bite early works for me. I seldom get bites I recon but when I recon one, I use my heated lighter cover an it's fine. (You should wait a moment until it is not giving you a brand mark ;-) )
@vilbi yeah I think so too and the one she treated is slightly less swolllen as the other ones - but we didn't treat it right away so I can't really say!
