The criterion is really "can be loaded to my kindle" rather than "on Amazon", mobi downloads will do me just fine. (Though unfortunately the other criterion is currently "free" and not just "cheap", I was attempting to subsist off the things people put on free sale as loss leaders.)

Free is totally good too. As it so happens, I'm currently working on uploading free excerpts to post on the Circlet main page every weekday for the next three weeks. So there is that.
