Something else fun that Krita does easily - tiling patterns :) Just hit 'W' to toggle the wrap preview. This is one 300px square, tiled ^.^

@WelshPixie the whole thing is done under krita? if so, do you do it with your mouse or do you have something special to do it?

Seeing all your arts really make me eager to draw but I'm already disappointed by the result that has yet to happen.

@Vigdis Also, if you're just starting out with drawing, give yourself permission to suck, and continue that permission indefinitely. Like anything, it needs practice, and it doesn't improve without practice. Very few people are born with the innate ability to be excellent at drawing without working hard at it. Sucking is okay, and needing practice is okay, but you gotta let yourself be okay with that :)

@WelshPixie Thanks a lot for your explanations/advice!
Sadly I don't have the patience with art to get better :D

@Vigdis I always wished I was better at drawing people but I'd get frustrated when I'd try and my results would be way off. But when I started the mandalas, more abstract line art, it just 'clicked' I guess - they're abstract so don't have a 'real' standard of realism they have to meet. But I find the drawing part very therapeutic too. ^.^

@WelshPixie I totally agree for the therapeutic parts. I used to draw things just because I liked the way the pen move when I was a kid.
Thank you very much for your answers!
