To put an exclamation point on my previous post about wearing bike helmets. Ahem...
Reminder to all, wear your helmets on your bikes!
The huge cracks and scraps in my helmet, after this weekends most recent crash, just riding along, caught the front wheel in a small gap in the pavement and smashed shoulder and head first into the ground in an instant. I got up and rode the rest of the way home despite a bruised rib and some scrapes because of my now destroyed helmet. Someone loves you, just do it.
I decided to play around with the old original ST-01 samplepak. Came up with a silly 4 channel .MOD style tune with it.

or a direct download of the .IT module file for those that are inclined. https://api.modarchive.org/downloads.php?moduleid=180828#troll_-_extra_toasty.it
spoonfuls of peanut butter is an acceptable lunch, right?
Sad thing is, this is a triple SLI board and supports tons of ram and anything, and I gimped it to 32 bit vista because of a game I played at the time... grr
This machine is an older quad core 2.6 on vista (grumble). Good gfx card and 3gb ram. Do I bother upgrading the OS or just say screw it and search a new machine with a modern win license that comes with it. Guess I could just make this a linux box then.
I intend to game and produce music on it. I don't want to invade my wife's new machine, that's not fair.
Home sick, more so last night. But now just restless and bored. I'm not used to just sitting around in front of a computer anymore. Although that's what I did for many, many years before.
If I may take a moment to spam some self promotional crap.

A collection of some mods I did back in the 90's. Enjoy, maybe?

And I kinda forgot about the OrcRave! Anyone remember Warcraft2?
I think I'll take all my piano/soft rock tunes and make it an album. there's plenty
despite that, I should encode these into a streamable format and upload to share.
listening to my old mods, many of which I have forgotten I even made. The latter ones being a bit mature and not horrible, all seem to hang in the same key. I clearly know absolutely nothing about actual music.
My live, bass playing career speaks of the same. *sigh*
Two amber ales and I'm invincible, apparently.
Feel. Feel invincible.

This whole weekend is filled with the local mountain bike race. Of which I am helping with all Sunday, and probably riding and drinking at the Demo day all tomorrow, so I'll catch up with y'all after this weekend. Cheers!
need to go make dinner and sip double IPAS, bbiab
