Another for fellow #cycling fans. The freebie bike I got after putting on my Crazy Bars and Brooks I had waiting for a bike I wanted to build. Going to put them all on this for now. Including a 29er rear wheel since I have a brand new rear Shimano hyrdo disc and this has disc tabs on the frame already. Swap on a rigid fork, my Shimano road cranks and SS. Urban attack monster! https://octodon.social/media/6L_ZvH89RbD8MFlhU3k
@r4v5 They are Velo Orange Crazy Bars. http://store.velo-orange.com/index.php/casey-crazy-bar.html
I'm assuming you mean an old style quill stem? There's always a way. There are quill stem adapters to allow you to use a more modern threadless stem setup, sure. You just need to figure out which style and size you have.
@Troll I have so many questions about those bars, like "what are they called" and "how do I get them" and "do they stand a chance of being mounted to a stem that doesn't have a separate block to clamp onto"?
