Seems like when you have a toot with a whole bunch of sudden activity, you get a trickle of notifications throughout the day after.

If you ever want to read toots in real-time from the instance preview site, you could use http://refreshthing.com to set a period to auto-refresh and browse similar to the native Mastodon experience. However you must use the url that contains the instance as a parameter on refreshthing.

If I find a new instance that is specific for my interest, I may want to read its local TL.
Is the only one way to do that to create a new account in the instance?
Then, in the future, must I manage many many accounts for every instances I am interested in?
