Considering purchasing and consuming a whole pecan pie. Appreciate any contributions to my risk–benefit analysis for this.

@Tezcatlipoca I'm not seeing any cons, only potential. Can you present some more information?

@Puck It is going to be a frozen Corky's pie. Which is a barbeque restaurant in the Southern US. This because they use only real sugar where they others use those sloppy veg syrups. And well I am going put about one whole tub of cool whip on it--in servings as needed (I am not going to debase the whole thing at once). Then I am going to start eating. I will probably cut pieces rather than just going at it. I am however concerned that by the end I might not want to eat a whole pie.

@Tezcatlipoca Should you fail to complete the pie, you will have leftover pie waiting for you. That is a winning situation for present you as well as future you

@Tezcatlipoca risks: seemingly endless mouthfuls of sweet sweet gooey-crunch, accompanied by flakey buttery crust

benefits: getting rid of a few extra dollars weighing you down

I dunno it is a tough call

@Tezcatlipoca I've done that. It's a really good idea with no detectable drawbacks.

@Tezcatlipoca A word of advice: stop eating it for an hour or two if your vision gets blurry

@Tezcatlipoca Might be after the fact but I think your risks are well below benefits.
